Freshly Baked To Order
All of our desserts are made fresh from scratch and baked to order. There are no premade mixes here, just classic recipes we've been honing over the years. Unless otherwise indicated, our cakes below come in your choice of a 2-layer 9" round cake or a 3-layer 6" round cake. Be sure to check out our Gallery page for additional photos!
COOKIES AND CREAM CAKE

Our cookies and cream cake is truly an Oreo lover's dream. We start out with layers of our moist and rich black cocoa cake filled with cream cheese butter cream and mini chocolate chips. The outside is frosted with our famous cookies and cream buttercream and a milk chocolate ganache.
BROWN BUTTER BLONDIES

Our brown butter blondies are oh so chewy and delicious! How can you go wrong with brown sugar and brown butter? The answer: you can't. We can fill these with anything or nothing, but we recommend white chocolate chips and crushed pecans.
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH CAKE

Our chocolate chip cookie dough cake is amazing, but don't just take our word for it. Chocolate cake layers are filled with our homemade edible cookie dough filling and topped with a brown sugar swiss meringue buttercream.

Arguably this is the dessert that started it all for Welch Baking Company. Nan's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies have been a hit with all for over 40Â years. The recipe is top-secret, so don't even ask. We hope you enjoy these as much as our family has.

Our lemon blueberry cake is baked with fresh blueberries and lemon zest to give it that pop of true flavor. Filled with a homemade lemon curd and frosted in a cream cheese buttercream, this cake is perfect for the spring and summer time!
NAN'S FUDGE RIBBON CAKE

This one is tough to beat ya'll. Nan has perfected this rich and moist chocolate cake with over 40 years of practice. Chocolate cake layers are intertwined with layers of cheesecake filling. The chocolate buttercream is the perfect pairing for this showstopper. This cake comes standard as a 3-layer, 8" round cake. If you've eaten this cake, you just know. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
CLASSIC VANILLA CAKE

Classic vanilla cake is always a hit. We impart extra vanilla flavoring with a few top-secret tricks. Vanilla buttercream is the perfect frosting for a classic all-vanilla pairing.
COFFEE TOFFEE CRUNCH CAKE

This cake is a coffee lover's dream! The coffee cake is light soaked with a toffee simple syrup. The cake is filled and covered in coffee buttercream. Mini toffee bits are added for the crunch!
RED VELVET CAKE

Our red velvet is a true crowd pleaser. Made with quality southern ingredients (it's got buttermilk, ya'll) and a touch of cocoa, you can't go wrong with this incredibly moist and delicate cake. Our red velvet is filled with toasted pecan pieces for a little crunch and frosted with classic cream cheese frosting to set it all off.

Our pound cake is baked fresh with simple, quality ingredients. We bake it at a low temperature so it stays moist. You can eat it plain, or dress it up with whipped cream and berries!
